These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...

Christian Wallace McNabb was born in Glasgow on 01 June 1882 . Her father Hugh McNabb was a teacher of singing. Christian attended the University of Glasgow from 1902-1906 , taking classes in Latin and Mathematics in her first year; English Language and Literature and Education in her second; Moral Philosophy and French in her third, and Logic in her fourth and final year. She was awarded a first class certificate in English Language and Literature in 1904 and came eighth in her Logic (Ordinary)...
